Description: Design, prototype, test, and analyze products, sub-systems, and mechanical components related to home bicycle storage and vehicle-mounted bicycle transportation racks. Duties:

• Executed engineering projects to create functional product designs to be mass produced and sold to end users through industry channels.

• Built, maintained, and locked in multi-level costed bills of materials for use by key stakeholders.

• Created functional parametric 3D models of components and assemblies for use in analyzing a design's mechanical characteristics and aesthetics.

• Created and maintained technical engineering prints to ASME Y14.5 2009 standards, and worked with these documents from prototype revisions through production release and subsequent revisions. • Actively negotiated project costs throughout the development process with manufacturing and sourcing groups.

• Assisted test engineer in developing testing standards and methods, as well as the execution of functionality testing and collection, analysis, and dissemination of test results.

• Assisted sourcing in finding suppliers of new and existing technologies. • Performed first-article dimensional analyses using digital and analog measuring equipment.

• Delegated tasks as needed. • Utilized and maintained Dimension Elite and Fortus 250MC 3D printers.

Description: Develop and build auxiliary CNC automation systems (mechanical), including automatic hydraulic clamping, automatic feeding/loading systems, hydraulic system controls, guarding, and electrical enclosures.

Duties: • Design systems from project scope and on-site technical assessment as provided by the Lead Project Manager. • Build costed BOMs to understand and maintain projected costs. • Purchase, machine, and build systems. • Install systems in-house and on-site.

Description: Set up and operate punch presses

Duties: • Load and mount tooling in punch presses.

• Set presses (4 Rouselles, 1 Komatsu, 150 ton maximum, 10 ton minimum). • Operate presses, including first-article and in-process inspections for conformity to design specifications. • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Hoffman and UniBal CNC flywheel balancers.

• Run Hines horizontal tubing benders (2.5" diameter, .188" wall max).

• Basic programming and operation of Miller robotic welders, including light hand welding and touch up. • Stack and move containers of raw and finished parts utilizing forklifts.
