In My Own Words
Eric B has worked as a Director of Photography, Editor and Motion Effects Artist. Starting out as a Producer and Cinematographer of snowboarding films and shows for Fuel TV, he quickly expanded into editing, post production finishing and visual effects. Gaining a unique understanding of storytelling at each phase of production, he has since applied this to commercials, narrative short films, targeted web communications and Emmy award-winning documentaries.
Formally trained at the Global Cinematography Institute in L.A. Eric developed his eye for shooting and lighting, working closely with internationally respected DP’s Yuri Neyman ASC, Francis Kinney ASC, Jay Holden ASC and Vilmos Zsigmond ASC.
Whether in the field or on set, Eric’s swift and skillful execution is done with a keen insight as to what is needed to help any production shine in and out the editing bay. His overall confidence gives clients and talent the comfort and trust necessary to bring a relaxed, smooth work flow and overall sense of well being to any campaign. And it shows in the finished products.
Equally comfortable helming a crew of 20, leading a post-production team, working as a one-man producer/shooter or making creative decisions in the edit suite, Eric’s innate ability to lead combined with a well-rounded understanding of all phases of production make him an asset to any creative team.
Eric is a licensed drone pilot. He has a great deal of experience working with a multitude of high-end camera and lighting systems and building close relationships with studios, sound stages and rental houses throughout the United States and around the globe.

Worked collaboratively on a team of video editors for multiple keynotes featuring Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella and Microsoft Chief Product Officer, Panos Panay.
Worked independently as the video editor on episodes of a YouTube series focused on tackling the toughest challenges at the intersection of tech and society with Microsoft Vice Chair and President Brad Smith.

Absinthe Media2005 – 2009
Principal Cinematographer shooting 16mm and super 16mm film stock for eight movie titles. Each film was distributed worldwide with over 70,000 copies sold each year. Distributed by DVD and made available for digital download on iTunes.
Co-produced and edited a docu-drama series titled “Flipside” aired on Fuel Television and available for digital download on iTunes.
