Oversee all facets of the recruitment process, as well as manage the Workers’ Compensation Program. Adhere to State and Federal regulations by reviewing and verifying employee information prior to approving FMLA, CFRA, or other applicable leaves. Explain leave process to employees and answer questions. Safeguard employee data and ensure compliance with laws by auditing employee files and attached corresponding records regarding grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions. - Reduced employee turnover by revamping orientation and safety training, which increased staff morale and enhanced employee empowerment. - Conducted internal investigations on highly confidential matters and took disciplinary measures, which increased employee morale and more efficient processes in achieving department “production” goals. - Lowered the number of work-related injuries by introducing and executing an extensive heat, injury, and illness prevention program. - Solely responsible for preventing the spread of Covid-19 in the workplace.
