Kept 50+ OEM cast poly and injection molding urethane customers on board during periods of increasing lead times and late shipments by communicating openly, giving them accurate information they could make business decisions on.

Increased international and fleet business by $3M diversifying customer base from shifting market forces in the automotive aftermarket. Added covers for utility body trucks and doors for van body delivery vehicles which was not part of the business model at the time. Introduced private label programs when new market penetration warranted move from core brand in new markets.

Challenged by low margins, brought margin discipline to pricing, ending low margin "deal of the month" specials.

Developed world class customer service team to differentiate from competitors. Managed inside team of seven who were each experts in their departments. Cross trained to allow for no drop off in service to the customer when vacations, illness, and attrition happened.

Created effective and enforceable MAP, MSP, and Unilateral programs. Slowed map violations to 50% of previous year.

Increased sales of USA manufactured products in China by over 200% in first three years, including added Leer brand responsibility for China market.

Stabilized customer base through careful listening, observation, and action to reassure external customers and internal team members.

Led change of complicated multiple part numbering system to a one part number per application reducing returns and increasing customer satisfaction.
