In My Own Words

At my core, I am a creator, continually looking for new opportunities and outlets to challenge and test my abilities. In my previous position as Media Manager for the outdoor media publication, OutThere Colorado, I was a vital member of the content creation team, constantly traveling and fulfilling large client projects across Colorado. I have since developed my own media agency covering the outdoor industry and beyond.

As a Veteran, I am proud of my military career and look to bring those experiences into new workplaces to promote good core values and strong teamwork with every company I work for. I know that these prior experiences and unique sets of skills set up me well for future jobs and pursuing my career in media without the Outdoor Industry. I am looking to find new clients and projects with creative brands across the west. I have considerable skills in photography, videography, and design, and am comfortable taking on all tasks of project management on travel projects to include; talent acquisition, production planning, and large scale permitting for commercial media needs.

Fulltime freelance media production company, specializing in photography, videography, website & graphic design. I develop and create creative content based on client requests includes but not limited to images, video production, and editing, designing websites. Have created content for partnerships with many major outdoor brands, related to Instagram account for @explorewithollie account. This account is outdoor travels, adventures, and experiences of Ollie who is a mixed breed dog. Work to leveraged extensive knowledge of photography and videography in operating cameras for promotional photoshoots, events, and product launch projects.

Media Manager / Photographer

2017 – 2018

Experienced video producer for a digital outdoor publication. Involved in video strategy leadership. This leadership role includes pitching the strategy, guiding team collaboration, shooting, editing, and working with the social team on video presentation and promotion. Responsible for the fulfillment of high-end digital experiences on contracts for clients ranging from tourism organizations to nitch outdoor brands; to include Matador Network, Subaru & Subaru Adventure Team, The Broadmoor, YMCA of the Rockies, OtterBox, Stabil Gear, #youshouldbehere series produced at OutThere Colorado, and more. Responsible for logistics to numerous commercial filming projects; to include permitting, producing, filming, directing, and editing videos for OutThere Colorado and other clients as needed. Provided illustrations and ad design for multiple digital campaigns with the use of brand-specific styling through Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Proficient in Sports Performance Laboratory operations to include VO2 Max, Anaerobic/Blood Lactate Threshold, and Economy/Resting Metabolic Assessments using either treadmill or cycle protocols. Body composition assessment using DEXA with accurate interpretation of results. Able to Conduct Hyperoxic training for USAFA Division 1 Collegiate Athletes and USAFA/AD Military Personnel. Lead Protective Service Officer for United States Military Representative to NATO. Support Missions for Chairman Joint Chief of Staff and Secretary of Defense at the US Pentagon. Assisted in the integration, training, and supervision of over 15 newly assigned employees both equivalent and senior to position in executing protection and physical security operations. Maintained responsibility and accountability of facilities and highly sensitive government property and vehicles valued at over $1,000,000. Selected as a senior ranking team member to serve as a personal security officer to senior military officials on over 30 international security missions applying basic fundamentals of protection by identifying threats, assessing high threat situations, and conducting surveillance and counter-surveillance.
