In My Own Words

Hey! My name's Cam Sale, I'm a freelance drone pilot, video/photographer based in the Rocky Mountains. After graduating from the University of Montana I moved to Breckenridge to work as a videographer for the Ski and Ride School at Breckenridge Ski Resort. After managing the shack for a few years I started offering video production and aerial inspections for local and national clients. We've been in business since October 2015 and have provided media services for Discovery Channel, Breckenridge, Keystone and Granby Ski Resorts, luxury and commercial real estate, local restaurants, etc. We are a small but profitable photo/video production company with a specialty in aerial action sports and subject tracking. Helping local business craft their story in their voice brings me great joy. My end goal is to work for an established production house where I can utilize my specialty skill set as a full-time aerial cinematographer. At CamSaleFilmDept we provide photo and video production services to a variety of clients and industries including Breckenridge Ski Resort, Discovery Channel, residential and commercial real estate, solar, wind and bridge inspections, local events and even a few world records. We like to take a hands on, personal approach with each client and find out their specific needs and expectations for their project.

At the Breckenridge Ski and Ride School's Video Shack we provide an invaluable service at no charge to our students. Working in a small hut in the middle of Peak 8, we film our ski school students in slow slow motion and analyze their movements to provide a physical example of their actions. Since most people are visual learners, it takes seeing themselves doing something incorrectly for it to "click" in their heads. Almost every single day I hear a guest say, "I had no idea I was doing that!" Since the vast majority of people have never seem themselves skiing, instructors love to come by and utilize this service. I also assist our Marketing department with training videos, additional content at events like Dew Tour and handle any other projects thrown my way.
