Primarily worked as a merchandiser but filled in for sales reps when they would be on vacation or would call in sick. Would take over the full sales route on those days covering sales for 20-25 stops throughout the day.

Organized the kids activities on the beach during the day. Activities included games as well as arts and crafts. Responsibilities were to set up the activity and promote it to get as many kids participating as possible. During down time from activities I doubled as a beach attendant taking care of guests needs on the beach such as bringing down towels and setting up umbrellas.

Maintain safety in and out of the pool. Tasks include making sure pool isn't overfilled, keeping the cleanliness on the pool deck for safety and top functionality, and maintaining a total headcount of patrons using the pool at the time to help with scheduling for employees.

In my time of being a student I have considered myself very fortunate with the opportunities that have been presented to me. I value the education that I've gotten here tremendously. I am confident that I can go into the hospitality field after graduation and be more than an adequate employee at any location I get put into. I also value the experiences that I was able to get outside of the class room. Playing water polo at Chico for 5 seasons and holding a leadership position three out of those 5 seasons. This experience has given a wide array of skills that I would not have had an opportunity to acquire if it wasn't for the club water polo program at Chico State
