In My Own Words

My love for the outdoor and lifestyle industry started at a young age. I first started skating when I was about 13 years old with all my neighborhood friends. As we got older and out of middle school and high school, many began pursuing other interests and activities but my heart stuck with the skateboard industry. Once I realized I wasn't on the same level as some of the sponsored skaters, I still didn't want to give up on my dream to work throughout various skateboard businesses. With much experience in skating, longboarding, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and skiing, I knew that my passion would always be in the outdoor lifestyles.

Sales - Recruiting Coordinator

Next College Student Athlete

2019 – Present

After receiving my bachelor's degree from Colorado State University, I knew I wanted to combine my degree in business communications with my passion for college athletics. Working as a Recruiting Coordinator with Next College Student Athlete allows me to work with families to help their student athlete(s) get recruited for college. My number one core value is Experience: free flow outside of my comfort zone to positively push myself. That’s what NCSA does for people. The experience pushes people to flow freely outside of their comfort zone with the intention to push themselves in ways they never imagined possible. My sense of spontaneity has allowed me to travel all over the world and share my story along the way, and I believe stories are the bridge to human connection. They’ve allowed me to create meaningful relationships with both co-workers and customers. Through this personal experience, I realized that I can bring customers along that same adventure with me by expressing empathy, excitement and care for their own adventure. With that, I can become just a small part of their life-changing journey.
