In My Own Words
Let’s break things down I am an experienced apparel industry professional. I have worked for brands, worked in the middle between brands and factories and worked for a factory. I have worked in Orange County, LA, NY and Mexico. You could say I’ve seen things from just about every angle minus sales or retail. I have worked for really big companies, smaller companies, and had consulting jobs for companies just trying to get started.

Creating wash developments and consulting mainly for clients that are running CMT style apparel production. I help companies create the look they want and then source it in the most practical factory for that product, keeping in mind the balance of price, quality and delivery.
Wash Development Manager
Helmut Lang2013 – 2015
Responsible for all stages of wash development through design, development and production. Also, to help assure that new washes meet seasonal design aesthetic and criteria while making sure production keeps original integrity of standards.

Wash Development for current denim looks/trends. Consulting for production planning and line development. Creative Design for various apparel projects that included concept art to finished files for a graphic T-shirt line.

Responsible for setting up an entire Product Development department and subsequently managing the department afterwards.
I was in the business of apparel packages that concentrated on production out of Mexico and development/ customer service out of Los Angeles. Worked on developing several projects for many premium denim companies in Los Angeles, as well as some smaller surf/skate companies in Orange County.

Hurley International1996 – 2004
Production assistant for both the Tops Production Manager and Bottoms Production Manager. Scheduled deliveries and assured all factories had trim allocations in correct amounts to complete the orders. Quality Control for laundries overseeing all garment dye, novelty washes and denim developments. Ran all fabric testing to advise on qualities of fabrics from shrinkage to crocking...etc. Also I was in charge of all embroideries and heat transfer applications.
