Expanding responsibilities. I was hired initially as a personal assistant to the owner. My responsibilities quickly grew to include making design decisions for rehab projects and events, eventually becoming their Marketing/Event liaison. I wrote press releases and copy for promotional materials, coordinated their client engagement events, investor events and large-scale holiday and open house events, vetting and hiring contract vendors. I broadened the scope of the events to include cross marketing for the commercial real estate and rehab/development arms of the business, increasing brand recognition and customer retention.
