In My Own Words
Sarah O'Connor is a Southern California based Illustrator and designer. She is a graduate of Laguna College of Art and Design with my BFA in Illustration. Sarah can work both traditionally and digitally with the pieces that she creates. Her strong suit is traditionally with mediums such as watercolor, gouache and prisma-colored pencil. Sarah has a great eye for detail and composition and has a love for rendering. She enjoys doing culinary illustration, portraiture drawing and painting, along with pleinair, landscapes specifically. Direct and coordinate the students’ juried show. Instruct children from first grade to high school and record student progress. Supervise and assist students, encourage creativity. Create the curriculum and teach techniques using variety of mediums. Ensure classroom is prepared for each session. Participate in parent-teacher and faculty meetings utilizing strong communication skills.
