Partnerships & Events Coordinator · Burton Snowboards

In My Own Words

I was a profeesional snowboarder for many years before returning to college at the university of colorado at Boulder. I began a restaurant during college which was sold in 2011. Post college I became a cultivation manager for one of the largest medical marijuana dispensaries in the United States. Finding myself stifled in the Marijuana industry, I decided to follow my passion and accept a job offer from Burton Snowboards to become the Direct Support for Greg Dacyshyn, former Chief Creative Officer of Burton Snowboards. After 1 year as Administrative assistant I was promoted to Executive Assistant for the entire creative department. I wore many hats as the Executive Assistant including budget manager, travel manager, account/project/product manager, and a multitude of administrative duties. After 3 years as direct support for Greg and the Creative team, I moved into marketing as Burton's Partnerships and Event Coordinator. I remained in this role for six months until deciding to move on from Burton in September of 2017.
