I focus daily on creating compelling graphic design and illustration. My work elevates brands, businesses and products—I'm most interested in finding the right balance of articulate and funky, minimal and extra, colorful and monotone—to present clients with thoughtful designs, that speak to their target audiences and build trust in them at the same time.
My areas of expertise are in graphic design and illustration, with creative direction often involved in my work. Other skills include photography / retouching, motion design, film, editing, and content creation. Based in Long Beach, California since 2018. When not working, I can be found chasing my two year old around on the playground, or at the beach, pretty much year round.

Projects have included packaging design, brand development, web banners, product photography/editing/retouching, print and e-catalog design, sales sheets, inventory spreadsheets, invoices, business card design, Trade Show Promotional collateral, Video editing/production and E-Mail Blasts. Project management and team support and feedback has also been a big part of my role here.

OC Weekly2015 – 2016
Production artist position responsible primarily for the creating and processing of advertisements for both in-house and external marketing purposes in both print and web.
Duties included creating layout mockups and art direction, under the supervision of the Art Director. Creation and copy writing of in house marketing campaigns, Photo editing and retouching, some writing for special issue articles. Logo design and package design, as well as branding for special events and podcast. Limited Motion design and Social Media content curating and creation. I wore many hats and was somewhat of a floater between the Production and Editorial departments.

Production graphics work for busy design department in Real Estate Office. Creating signage, postcards, flyers, holiday cards, websites, web banners, and advertising collateral for promotional magazines. The work was mostly templates, with some minor moments of design flexibility. An uncomfortable office atmosphere, but a very valuable experience that taught me a lot.

Drift Surfing2010 – 2010
The US version of the website is no longer online, but the European version is. (www.driftsurfing.eu) During the time I worked there, I was responsible for layout design of a number of articles for this online surf journal. I was given the photographic content and was responsible for creating the typography and sequencing for the articles, mainly working in Photoshop & InDesign.

I assisted the head of Event Promotions at SPACE Gallery in Portland Maine. My duties included researching musicians and bands, poster design, website updates and maintenance, event hosting and clean up, flyering, cleaning and errand running, among others.

Studied photography, (traditional b/w darkroom to digital color) Life drawing, illustration and graphic design. Favorite projects included installation of monumental 3D type pieces, hosting and decorating for events, and my senior thesis exhibition.
