Agency Owner

Creative and production design and illustration work: primarily packaging and branding / marketing concepts for wine companies.

Coordinated design objectives and assisted marketing team in designing email campaigns for Microsoft’s new line of accessories products. Fully remote, short-term contract role.

Graphic Designer

Digital design for print and web, specializing in typography, layout, and illustrative work. 

High volume marketing team support. Production design, typography, layouts, GIFS, images and collateral for blog, email and social media. Some web design / UI design for the website. Also work on printed mailers, brochures / catalogs, ect. 

Production Artist

Graphic Design of various company marketing collateral, such as Offering Memorandums, Sales proposals, flyers, area maps, work on the company branding guidelines, etc.

Responsibilities included book layout design for Complete Athlete book series, in print and digital, cover graphics, email campaigns, social media, web banners, digital billboards, and various other miscellaneous collateral such as brochures, postcards, whitepaper design and layout, etc. App assets, UI/UX design mockups for apps, as well.

Lead Creative for small telecommunications business. Projects have included packaging design, brand development,  web banners, product photography/editing/retouching, print and e-catalog design, sales sheets, inventory spreadsheets, invoices, business card design, Trade Show Promotional collateral, Video editing/production and E-Mail Blasts. Project management and team support and feedback has also been a big part of my role here.

Lead Graphic Designer

Production artist position responsible primarily for the creating and processing of advertisements for both in-house and external marketing purposes in both print and web. 

Duties included creating layout mockups and art direction, under the supervision of the Art Director. Creation and copy writing of in house marketing campaigns, Photo editing and retouching, some writing for special issue articles. Logo design and package design, as well as branding for special events and podcast. Limited Motion design and Social Media content curating and creation. I wore many hats and was somewhat of a floater between the Production and Editorial departments.

Production Artist & Layout Editor

Production graphics work for busy design department in Real Estate Office. Creating signage, postcards, flyers, holiday cards, websites, web banners, and advertising collateral for promotional magazines. The work was mostly templates, with some minor moments of design flexibility. An uncomfortable office atmosphere, but a very valuable experience that taught me a lot.

Graphic Design production for independent local paper based in Long Beach, California. Art direction and Design of ads and other print collateral. Photo retouching and fixing for print. (First real graphic designer position. Score!) Except for the part time, irregular schedule. No thanks.

The US version of the website is no longer online, but the European version is. (www.driftsurfing.eu) During the time I worked there, I was responsible for layout design of a number of articles for this online surf journal. I was given the photographic content and was responsible for creating the typography and sequencing for the articles, mainly working in Photoshop & InDesign.

Design Intern

I assisted the head of Event Promotions at SPACE Gallery in Portland Maine. My duties included researching musicians and bands, poster design, website updates and maintenance, event hosting and clean up, flyering, cleaning and errand running, among others.
