Work Experience
Apparel Designer - Outerwear
VANS2016 – Present
-Category Lead for Mens Outerwear and Fleece -Worked within the Special Make-Up (SMU) team on a multi-calendar based schedule with projects ranging across 5 seasons at a time. -Effectively executed capsule collections based on market trends for specific accounts working closely with merchandising and sales. -Additionally worked on graphics and prints for key accounts.
Assistant Designer
Pacific Sunwear2015 – 2016
-Researched and designed new styles for “On The Bias” Men’s Inline brand with a focus on knit and woven tops. -Responsible for seasonal color palette, fabric developemnt, color and print strike offs, and teck packs. -Created trend presentaion boards and assisted in seasonal design meetings with sales and merchandising.

-Created/Updated CAD’s and Tech Illustration’s - Met with fabric/trim vendors, sourced fabric/trim’s - Created graphics and prints for events and retail garments -Commented on samples, lab dips, and strike offs -Spec proto samples and created tech packs

-Designed a 12 look collection for the 2013 FIDM Debut Fashion show -Studied trends, silhouettes, and colors for fall 2014 -Created technical flats and completed technical packages -Sourced Fabrics and Trims -Ran fittings for first sample to final garment
