Manson Construction2016 – Present
• Designed, sourced, and constructed a simple filtration device using SolidWorks and AutoCAD to remove munitions and explosives from oceanic sand prior to depositing sand onto beach. Design eliminated a complex environmental threat to safely rebuild the New Jersey Shore after Hurricane Sandy. Repurposed unused sheet metal for efficient and cost effective implementation. Design increased production efficiency by 14%. • Designed, sourced, and constructed a customized I beam weldment to allow a tractor loader to move equipment on construction site in a self-sufficient manner. Previous method did not follow OSHA standards and required additional labor force to complete simple tasks. Utilized FEA and SolidWorks to verify structural integrity. Reduced weekly labor costs by 5 hours/week. • Directed and worked with contractors, engineers, suppliers, and laborers to manage the completion of major project milestones for on time and under-budget projects.

• Leveraged the knowledge of the product design, R&D, and manufacturing groups to effectively design a new plastic materials property test. Implementation of test into the technology department to aid in predicting the feasibility of commercializing new products. • Identified required material and equipment to increase the manufacturing efficiency of producing existing products. Worked with construction managers, project estimating managers, and suppliers to ensure project meets all architectural design specifications and client requirements. • Collaborated with project estimating managers to determined sourcing requirements for upcoming design-build projects. Produced cost comparison reports to analyze cost effectiveness of varying suppliers. Performed quality control procedures to guarantee design is feasible and that selected suppliers meet contract specifications.
