My mission is to create connection and community for women outdoor enthusiasts. Leading Outside Women I aim to inspire women to explore the outdoors, providing guides, stories, reviews and more. The Outside Women forum hosts a space for women to share photos, tips, ask questions and get advice from first-hand experiences of other women like them.
We're just getting started and I'm excited for the future of OutsideWomen.com. I'd love to network and collaborate with women who work in the outdoor industry, from writers and marketing coordinators to business owners and athletes. Connecting women to the outdoors and each other as Editor-in-Chief of Outside Women, an online publication and forum serving women outdoor enthusiasts. I oversee all aspects of the business including editorial, website design, advertising, marketing, partnerships, community management and business development.
Marketing Coordinator
Carve Sports, Inc2014 – 2016
Led the development and implementation of the company’s digital marketing strategies for Guy Takayama Surfboards, CJ Nelson Designs, Harley Ingleby Surfboards, and Phoque Skateboards including social media marketing, e-commerce, SEO, and website design. Designed B2B and B2C product catalogs, developed strong partnerships and communication with surfboard dealers, and created and executed successful marketing campaigns. Represented brands at industry trade shows and public events, and managed communications with sponsored athletes, influencers, and event coordinators. Action sports industry; brands included surfboard, skateboard, and stand-up paddleboard manufacturers.

Working as a content writer and blogger for Wear On Earth's e-commerce site for the brick-and-mortar flagship store in Potsdam, New York. I created product descriptions optimized for SEO, including backpacks, hiking shoes, women's and men's apparel, and gear for snow sports, watersports, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, climbing, and more. I also contributed to the company blog, pitching my post ideas, and communicated with warehouse management to adjust online inventory and availability. I really enjoyed this job because of the products I got to write about, the friendly coworkers, and injecting my passion for the outdoors in my writing.

Contributing writer and videographer for AOL Patch covering high school sports for the South Orange County, California. I produced athlete video interviews, took event photos and covered sporting events with quick turnaround on articles, meeting tight deadlines. Sports included basketball, equestrian, volleyball and soccer.
