In My Own Words

I am a Graphic Designer/Illustrator based in the Northern NJ/NYC area. I have strengths in branding, illustration, logo design, and product design, along with working knowledge of HTML/CSS. My working experience has ranged from all over the world with all different kinds of companies, both size wise and job wise. From Primitive Skateshop, to a Australian local surf shop named Salty Shoes, and from a brewery named Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon, NY, to a freelance photographer. No job is too small, and no job is too big. Design is my passion, and I am fortunate enough to call it my profession and my career.

2014 – Present

I have grown as a designer, from first building my base strictly through instagram, getting all my clients through posting my designs. Since then I have grown to have 2,000+ followers on instagram, getting requests for designs, or to buy current designs just about everyday. I see social media as a strong outlet to pursue freelance, it holds myself accountable to produce work that is of the highest quality in order to get work. I have worked with clients all over the world and about all different sizes and all different jobs. From branding, to streetwear, I see all design as something I am fortunate to do for a living, and I have my clients to thank for that.

New York Red Bulls

2018 – 2018

The New York Red Bulls, the MLS side based in Harrison, NJ had a position for a temporary graphic designer to assist with all collateral and apparel designs leading into the 2018/19 season. The consistency had to be within the look and feel outside of the themed matches that the team had during the season. In particular I took on the full branding of the "Autism Awareness" match, which can be viewed on my website.

Art Directed by Jubal Jones, one of the co-founders of Primitive Skateshop. Provided a series of illustrations for an upcoming line of merchandise.

Brooklyn Brewery

2016 – 2017

I was very fortunate to have what started off as an Internship as a Graphic Designer at Brooklyn Brewery from November 2016 to April 2017. I worked alongside a talented in house designer and with the legendary Milton Glaser's style guides. The last 2 months I took on the primary design responsibilities in house since the in-house designer left to pursue other job opportunities. It taught me time management through having to tackle all kinds of projects with due dates that vary from all lengths of time. I have grown to enjoy challenges and fast paced schedules. When it comes to tension, that's when I seem to produce my best work.
