ROOLEE

2019 – Present

I create seasonal designs starting from conceptualization through to production. Each garment is carefully ideated before sourcing fabrics, trims, and notions. I then proceed to create a full tech pack to communicate my designs with the factory. After receiving the 1st prototypes, I style them on a live model to efficiently communicate the design intent to the owners and buyers. For each confirmed style, I run a fit session to ensure proper fit, function, and aesthetic. I maintain all changes or updates within the tech pack and clearly communicate each development stage with the factories.

Sales Associate

The Sportsman

2016 – 2019

My time at The Sportsman, a local outdoor and lifestyle retailer, was the most valuable job to have while earning my Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Product Design and Development. I was able to collaborate with the owners and assist in the seasonal buying process; which gave me the opportunity to travel to well-known industry events and trade shows. I created appealing merchandise displays, assisted with implementing sales promotions, and managed inventory levels. I executed knowledge of fit, fabric, and function of clothing and other outdoor products while fulfilling customers wants and needs. Additionally, I helped bring customers into the store by planning events, updating social media platforms, and creating meaningful relationships with our clientele.
