Mantra Yoga & Juice Bar
Yoga Instructor | 09/2015 - Current
I help lead students through dynamic vinyasa yoga sequences. I teach a variety of different styles including vinyasa level 1, vinyasa level 2, hot fusion and yin. I provide a safe and comfortable space for students to practice yoga. I also share profound messages to deepen my student's practice and educate them to the more subtle parts of the yoga practice.
I began practicing yoga at Mantra Yoga & Juice Bar in May 2014. I fell in love with the practice immediately and enrolled in teacher training soon after in April 2015. I learned to teach a dynamic Level 1 vinyasa flow in my teacher training program led by Melissa Smith and Mike Sherbakov. They gave me the foundations to be a well-rounded instructor.
In September 2015, I began teaching at Mantra Yoga & Juice Bar. I taught a Level 1 with a set sequence. I did this for several months before advancing to other types of classes.
These days, the types of classes I teach include:
* Level 1 Vinyasa Flow
* Hot Fusion (similar to Bikram, but not as rigid)
* Level 2 Vinyasa Flow
* Yin Yoga
My classes provide a safe space for students to connect with themselves. I truly believe the practice will change you for the better, and I allow this space to open up through my classes. I like to share profound messages to deepen the experience of my students and educate them about the more subtle parts of the yoga practice.
