I am an east coaster originally from Connecticut and graduated from The New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. After receiving my BFA, I remained in Boston and designed marketing material, branding, and magazines. (And became a huge Red Sox fan). Then, it was time to shake things up. I headed west and drove out to Los Angeles, where I worked for a fashion trend forecasting company and designed their monthly magazines. After a few months I parted ways with the fashion company and hopped on the entertainment band wagon to work for Mantra Films, where I designed DVD covers, logos, and web pages. From there, I worked at TOMS Shoes as a studio artist performing production design, photo retouching, designing in-store signage, landing pages, e-blasts, and web banners. I then worked at Natural Balance Pet Foods, Inc. and designed their marketing material, packaging, web banners, coupons, and in-store promotions before designing at Lorna Jane, a fashion fitness company. At Lorna Jane, I designed daily emails including wholesale emails, along with website design, invites, banners, in-store designs, and social media content. Today, I am a freelance graphic designer working with numerous clients from China to New York to Los Angeles.

In addition to design, I run and edit a lifestyle blog in Los Angeles called hoopLA which has led me to perform freelance social media and write for other outlets including EaterLA and CBS LA.

Freelance designer for multiple companies. Designed logos, marketing collateral, stationery suites, websites,advertisements, magazines, look-books, social media images, and labels. Art director of the publication of the International Wushu Federation, a company marketing Kung Fu to the Olympics.

Graphic Designer

Editor, writer and designer of lifestyle blog for California. hoopLA specializes in events, restaurants, health, beauty, fashion and deals with an artsy twist.

Designed daily emails, program emails, in-store displays, post cards, window displays, mailers, website graphics, fliers, look books and invites for a fashion-forward active-wear brand.

Responsibilities included designing pet food packaging, marketing materials, in-store promotions, trade show materials, ads and updating website images. 

Wrote monthly for the Best of LA section on CBSLA.com. Articles included Los Angeles beauty, fashion, dining and culture.

Freelance Writer

Supported the creative team with graphic/production design. Coordinated vendors, prepared files to print, designed line sheets, store displays, emails, landing pages, web banners and color corrected product photos.

Studio Artist

Designed websites, logos, DVD covers and advertisements and performed photo retouching for the entertainment industry.

Designed monthly fashion trade books, merchandised fashion photographs, designed fliers and projected trends through in-field market research. 

Graphic Designer/Fashion Merchandiser

Designed two in-flight movie magazines for Continental Airlines, the style section of the Continental magazine, and Western Union magazine. Coordinated with designers, illustrators and photographers. Art directed photo shoots, color corrected and performed preproduction work.
