Developed and managed the overall product strategy and engineering designs for CAPiTA snowboards which involved working directly with the factory in Austria to oversee the product development process, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing to ensure products were delivered on time and within budget. Also responsible for creating product-focused marketing plans to increase awareness and demand. Many of the products I developed have won awards for innovation and design and were used by other brands when researching future product trends. Creating cutting-edge products that push the limits of snowboard design has significantly increased sales, brand credibility, and equity. CAPiTA is now a leading brand in the snowboarding industry, while the CAPiTA-owned manufacturing facility develops products for many of today’s top snowboarding brands.

Strategically defined, designed, engineered, developed, and managed all snowboard products for K2 Snowboards, including creating the product roadmap and production plans for all products. Approved all final engineering and creative files, final product pricing, and production costs while focusing on creating unique and cutting-edge products that meet or exceed expectations and maintain brand goals and values. This also included overseeing all prototyping DFMEA and Testing Failure Analysis. The K2 boards I designed
changed the Snowboarding industry; the Gyrator and my version of Reverse Camber Technology became an industry-wide requirement, while my experimental tip shapes influenced the look and feel of all snowboards sold today. K2 Sports is a US-based winter sports company with 60 years of history, making the best and most innovative products in the outdoor industry.
