This soft goods company was founded as a platform for personal growth and exploration.
Guided by a curiosity of construction methods, usage behavior and entrepreneurship, I have
been avidly pursuing my obsession with outdoor gear, from the inside out.
• Exploration of bag design through research, sketching, computer modeling, pattern
making, and constructing (sewing) prototypes.
• Self taught (books, instagram stalking, youtube, relationships built with other makers).
• Prototyped more than two dozen bag designs and variations.
• Exposure to design for manufacturing by building a tech pack and working back and
forth with a factory to have my design produced.
• Brand and marketing exposure through logo development, website development,
social media postings, and in-store sales.

Design lead on a hand-picked, cross-functional team that was assembled to accelerate Altria’s
aspiration of moving adult smokers from cigarettes to non-combustible products by creating
holistic experiences, anchored in deep consumer empathy and insights.
• Leveraged Design Thinking methodologies with a focus on consumer journeys,
through ethnographies across the country to develop and refine disruptive concepts.

Design lead focused on the next generation of non-combustible reduced risk products.
• Managed design projects leveraging both outside design firms and work streams at
our international innovation outpost in Israel.
• Piloted the Scrum Sprint process to deliver new concepts in a short period of time.
• Conceived and led effort to better reach and understand consumers lifestyles through
the use of a mobile research and prototyping lab.
• International travel to Israel and China to manage projects and scout technology.
