Research and Development: - Managed and improved the new product development lifecycle process from concept to completion - Utilized SolidWorks to create 3D models of parts, assemblies, and drawings for new products including exhaust systems and components, intake components, and accessories for exotic vehicles. - Utilized various methods for prototype creation and for production manufacturing, including 3D printing, reverse engineering, 3D digitizing, waterjet cutting, mandrel tube bending, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting and welding. Production Engineering: - Managed a team of machine operators and fabricators to develop jigs and fixtures, and complete production of parts for retail/wholesale orders and for inventory. - Initiated and managed Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to update and modify solid models, drawings, programmed toolpaths, bill of materials, build guides, and associated documentation.

- Managed the contract manufacturing business unit of Fabspeed Motorsport; duties included marketing, sales, estimation, engineering, maintenance, logistics, resource management, and invoicing. - Contract manufacturing services offered included CNC waterjet cutting, CNC milling and turning, CNC mandrel tube bending, CNC press brake, laser engraving, reverse engineering and design engineering.

- Provided support to walk-in, telephone, and e-commerce customers: placing orders, answering questions, providing advice, selling related products/services and resolving order discrepancies.

- Provided systems engineering support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) (03/2009-09/2009).

- Provided systems engineering, environmental impact analysis, test and evaluation, cost reduction, technical analysis and operational support to the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and New York City Transit (11/2007-02/2009).

- Led a team of undergraduate mechanical engineers to design and fabricate the carbon-fiber body for an open-wheel formula-style racecar to compete internationally, including creating, tracking and reporting on milestones via project management tools and complimentary documentation for each phase. (2004-2005) - Worked as a member of the frame team to design and fabricate a steel spaceframe for an open-wheel formula-style racecar to compete internationally. (2003-2004) - Designed the bodywork in SDRC I-DEAS. Fabricated the highly praised carbon-fiber end product. - Acquired skills including CAD (Computer Aided Design), machining, welding and marketing. - Performed as competition and test driver for the team.
