Fashion Designer of yoga wear and athleisure for www.laquerenciausa.com - a private label developed in the Washington DC Fashion Incubator Program @ Macy's. Currently, applying MBA skills in eCommerce, Hospitality Management and Human Resources with Jo-Ann Fabrics in a part-time position while completing Master's in Legal Studies in Indigenous People's Law online with University of Oklahoma College of Law. Career objective is to apply legal studies and MBA with passion for fashion and yoga as a designer and in business development with Cherokee Global Brands.

Trained as a Bikram Yoga instructor from 2012 to 2014 and certified in 500 hour teacher training program on scholarship to encourage veterans to practice the 26/2 posture series developed by Bikram Choudhury for pain management after a ski injury led to compressed discs in vertebrae; recovered completely from the injury through regular practice and wrote a book a series of articles under URL "Yoga National" as research for a book "Six AM in LA" to promote yoga wear and althleisure along with the practice of yoga globally through the Bikram studio brand.
Designer - DC Fashion Incubator @ Macy's Public Program
DC Fashion Incubator @ Macy's Public Program2016 – 2016
Developed a collection of yogawear and athleisure as a designer in the Public Program of the DC Fashion Incubator @ Macy's. Videotaped documentary and staged a Fashion Follows Art Exhibit with mannequins made from paper mache for the Washington DC Economic Partnership and was commissioned by the DC Mayor's Office to create the DC Lookbook as a Digital Downloadable Creative Community Guide for the design, photography and film/video/cable industry in Washington, DC, to showcase local designer collections. Participated in W Hotel Fashion Shows held bi-annually to showcase Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer Collections. Participated in International roundtables and launched LaQuerencia USA as a yoga wear brand that means "Sanctuary for the Soul" and is made from non-compression fabrics for hot yoga practitioners. Created website www.laquerenciausa.com and catalog to retail the yogawear to select studios in Forbes Top Ten markets and globally.

Currently, working part-time as a keyholder with Jo-Ann Fabrics, Falls Church, VA to develop experience managing retail fabric store and inventory of trims while completing Master's of Legal Studies in Indigenous People's Law with Oklahoma University College of Law online program and designing a collection of athleisure with the DC Fashion Incubator at Macy's.
Hospitality Management Consultant Real Estate
Lovingood Brokerage, Dallas, Texas2005 – 2012
Developed contracts for the purchase of hotel properties and rental of telco space. Presented to real estate developers and city planners impact studies and renderings of planned projects. Collected rents and managed office space for telecommunications building. Prepared legal documents and exhibits for court proceedings and lien litigation after the FDIC closed funding sources of buyers and contract default led to litigation for wage and deposits with title company.

Served as a broker licensing with the SEC as Series 7 and 66 and insurance sales person. Developed financial plans and marketed financial products as a broker for both MetLife and Merrill Lynch. Developed a board game for financial planning after leaving Merrill Lynch and went to work for MetLife as board game featured licensed characters from United Media Syndicate (Peanuts).

Served as a public affairs officer for a nuclear capable flying wing of KC-135 and B-52 aircraft after graduation from San Francisco State University as an AF Reserve Officer Training Corps member. Taught journalism for Department of Defense and recruited health professionals and Air Force officers for the Air Force. Organized community relations events, air shows, enlistment ceremonies and band appearances. Served on the National Press Desk staffing media queries on sensitive subjects. Retired with military spouse from the service in 2012.
