Designed and Developed Global Headwear and Beach Accessories for Young Men, Youth, & Boys Categories, Assisted in SMU Designs where help was needed in Boardshort Department, and created Marketing collateral (e.g. Hangtags, Hat inserts) to enhance our Made Better sustainability line that informed customers of products environmental impact. Primary responsibilities: -Collaborating with Development and Sourcing teams in the US and overseas to refine and resolve product design, performance, costing, and manufacturing issues from tech packages through testing and commercialization. -Develop innovative materials and products that adhered to customer objectives and improved customer satisfaction. -Assisted in SMU Designs seasonally for Dick’s Sporting Goods exclusive boardshort range, working directly with DSG Buying team to meet their consumers needs. -Leading Mens headwear designs on several collaborations, including - Andy y Andy, 2022 Newport Beach Junior Guards, Corkcicle and Pacifico. Key Achievements: -Developed headwear for Season 4 of Netflix’s Stranger Things available Globally, involving 5 hats available online to fans, and ‘Pizza Boy’ Visor that can be seen worn by Argyle. -Developed innovative products that adhered to consumer evolving needs, such as expanding our sun protection line, surf headwear, and re-thought school accessories that included Apple AirTag pockets. -Broadened our Sustainability line across 3 categories by incorporating seasonal recycled boardshort fabric, and use of fully sustainable fabrics and materials, resulting in a 45% increase in sustainability for the accessories line.
