— MichaelMy name is Michael Stevens and I'm a Multimedia Designer based out of Glendale, Arizona.
I am well-rounded in all aspects of media production including print and digital graphic design and commercial, product, journalistic, and event photography and videography. I play well with others but happy being a one-man-band. Tight deadlines don’t bother me and I’m content working in a cubicle or spending days or weeks in the middle of nowhere on assignment.
I'm always interested in new opportunities to broaden my horizons and gain a new skill or even a view on life.

* Handle all logistics and hiring for +/- 75 events throughout the US
* Hire staff, determine hours and pay, write logistical plan for each team of photographers to determine who goes where, for how long, and what type of photos are needed
* Communicate with race directors to determine needs for each event
* Review invoices from photographers ensuring proper pay is met and all expenses are legitimate

* Lead a team of 8 to 40 photographers covering marathons, triathlons, and Ironman events internationally
* Meet with race officials to determine athlete flow throughout the course and transition areas
* Scout course for photographer locations maximizing the image output of each location
* Plan logistics; each photographer's locations and schedule throughout the 4 to 18 hour day
* Manage media and upload an average of 90,000 images to company file servers each event

* Created Big Mike's Graphics to provide graphic design, printing, and web design services for various clients
* In April of 2003 Wide Open Photography was developed to focus on photography
* In 2019 started conceptualizing the rebranding of Wide Open Photography to Wide Open Media to offer videography as well as voice over services; Rebranding completed in July of 2019
