Completing alterations and repairs of luxury athletic clothing for guests at the in-store Joinery. Leading the space and team to provide high quality guest experience and add value to product. Putting the guest first, we tailor operations to create a unique, custom service.
Contract Designer/Sewer
Sew Valley2018 – 2018
Freelance design and product development for clients developing apparel and soft goods products at Sew Valley - a studio that connects local entrepreneurs and designers while providing space and resources for cut and sew operations. Specializing in accessories and projects involving technical constructions or materials.
Industrial Design Co-op
Livewell Collaborative2017 – 2018
User-centered research and design, working on projects for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and a number of corporate partners. Research methodologies focus heavily on stakeholder interaction and collaboration across disciplines. Project topics have included designing for children's end of life care, and staff process improvements in hospital wards.
Sustainability Advocate

Working closely with the Sustainability Coordinator, Sustainability Advocates, and student groups to implement sustainable initiatives on campus. Initiatives focus on social, environmental, and economic sustainability to improve the quality of life for students and others in the Cincinnati community.
Soft Goods Design Co-op
Thule Organization Solutions2016 – 2016
Worked with the design and product development teams as a soft goods design co-op to lead a redesign of a current family of daypacks for the Thule brand. A resource to other designers for sketching, prototyping, research, product testing, specifications, and logo development. As a full-time team member, I was an active and instrumental participant in the product development process.
Industrial Design Co-op
Factor 102015 – 2015
Designed and prototyped products for multiple clients and for internal products based around Factor 10’s patented Omni-Directional Induction technology. Produced concept sketches, sewed soft good prototypes, soldered and installed electrical components, worked with Stratasys uPrint SE Plus 3D printer, and compiled presentations for Hasbro, Spinmaster and other clients.

Frontgate2015 – 2015
Designed a handful of high end furniture and decor pieces for multiple luxury brands. Lead the product development team on consulting with material scientists and specialists at Material ConneXion to develop innovative materials to be used in the development of new products. Responsibilities for this included doing personal and collaborative research, making calls to manufacturers about ordering samples, and coordinating meetings with executive and product development members to discuss implementation.
