In my own words

Mark

With great interest, I submit this letter and résumé for an opportunity with your company.

I offer broad expertise in managing regional and national sales operations with expertise in growing high-producing dealer networks and building/leading talented sales teams.

Key strengths I will bring to this position include: • Consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, even in economically lacking markets or during economic downturns caused by the great recession and COVID pandemic. • Introducing process improvements that drove efficiency, accountability, and profitability, including revamping of sales operations at several companies, transitioning from company-based to independent sales representatives for one employer, and developing tracking function for sales and related activities. • Optimizing the productivity and motivation of sales teams through training and coaching on solution selling and relationship management and by setting clear performance expectations. • Building productive dealer bases at several companies with a focus on their ability to deliver product floor space and sales revenue, as well as their credit-worthiness. • Possessing a respect for mission and hard work, along with high integrity and tenacity in solving difficult problems learned while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. • Adapting quickly to new sales environments, quickly mastering and promoting new products and services. I can leverage my talents and skill set to excel within a wide range of sectors.

Since 3/2022, I have focused my efforts on delivering targeted sales management consultation to clients and purchasing, remodeling, and reselling residential properties as a real estate investor. However, I am now looking to transition back into a national or regional sales management role, and am open to a range of sectors.

I welcome the prospect of meeting with you to share additional information about my experience and background. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Mark Ashley
