In My Own Words

With my education in fashion and long years of work experience, I believe I would be a great fit to add to any fashionable environment. My fashion degree has given me great skills at drafting down ideas, researching up and coming trends, and the ability to produce strong visual presentations of the final product. Most importantly, however, are the fine tuned sewing skills I perfected during my years of study. Having been the assistant manager at a toy/comic book store has given me great multitasking skills with being able to run a store, do full shifts by myself, handle customer service, receive shipments, and maintain an organized yet enticing store front. The experiences I gained there have continued throughout every job I have had since and greatly apply now to my current job as the assistant manager at another comic store. With the combined efforts of my education and work ethic, I can apply these skills to any type of job. I believe my creative knowledge, adaptability to represent known brands, and ability to work well within a group environment, as well as be efficient on my own, would greatly add any fashion related field.
