Jesse Loomis

As a micro business owner, I've learned and executed a wide and ever-expanding skill set. I began with a simple wooden snowboard design, which lead to creating machinery to build a unique product. Since I build each snowboard by hand, this lead to creating a process for repeating the manufacturing steps in mass quantities and sourcing high quality materials, using local sources wherever possible. To promote the brand, I've been organically growing the PowderJet community on all of the social media platforms, primarily Instagram, where we're approaching 4k followers. I've written all of our press releases. I've also developed a 2 day class for people interested in building their own high performance wooden snowboard in our shop on the coast of Maine. In 2016 we began offering a traveling class, where we offer the same Build Your Own experience to individuals in their own area. Our first traveling class was in New York City, followed by Encinitas, CA and Portland, OR.
