Organized, prepared and led outdoor trips such as rafting, hiking, XC skiing, climbing and overnight excursions for students, faculty, and staff. Developed leadership skills in a critical thinking environment with high concern for customer safety. Peru Water sustainability Project Design Team

Graduate Scholar/Intern

U.S. Air Force Research Labs

Designed and proposed successful HVAC system updates while becoming well versed with ASHRAE standard 90.1 and ASHRAE handbooks. Thoroughly investigated sustainable building methods (Passive House, BREEAM, LEED, etc.) for possible applications in the Air Force.

Conducted research in Dr. Cecily Ryan's lab as an undergraduate studying the ability to 3D print bio -plastics such as Polylactic acid, and other PHA's. Produced various high-quality research presentations and studies.

of a team of MSU Engineering students tasked with designing and building a functional water filtration system for Peruvian mountain guides. Executed design process, creative design, project management, teamwork, and technical leadership while learning the skills needed to work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment to develop a product that met the needs of the customer.
