David Lerner NY- DL Collection – January 2017- June 2018 Freelance Import Technical Designer- Bottoms (Woven/Non-woven/Vegan leather), Tops, Dresses & Skirts (Woven, soft woven & knits) Responsibilities: Women’s import development/production tech packs, lead fittings, fit comments for each stage, grading, TOP/size run comments

Responsibilities: Women’s development/production tech packs (classic line & fashion bodies ), check garment for correct construction & details, attend fittings. create fit comments/graded measurements, daily communication with factory, maintain tracking log & maintain/update master BOM

Responsibilities: Pre-Production/Production tech packs for Missy, Petite & Plus size, measure all samples, organize & lead all fittings, track samples, provide fit comments/graded specs, work with head pattern maker for all pattern corrections, check TOP’s & send comments/ approval & daily communication with all factories- problem solve situations.

Responsibilities: Daily communication & management with fabric/trim vendors, in-house RND department, dye house, production team, pattern makers, cutting department, tech designers etc. Processed PO’s for all development & salesman samples. Concept/Development per season- convert hand sketches to illustrator, create cut tickets for new designs/samples. Process lab dips & samples for color options in different dye techniques/ washes as well as color corrections. Create/mange salesman samples for all sales reps from start to finish. Seasonal in-house hand off meetings/outsourcing includes: cost sheets, fabric/trim/thread cards, wash standards & design sheets for each style with all necessary info for tech design to create tech packs. Processed product & color development for all special accounts.

Responsibilities: Creating Pre-Production/Production tech packs (Women’s, Men’s & Kids) Denim, Woven’s, Knit’s & Sweater’s. Tasks consisted of producing tech packs, adding spec’s, creating graded templates, attend fittings, taking & inputting fit comments, making necessary revisions to tech packs per fitting and working closely with in-house production team, pattern makers & sewing department.
