The goal was to create a Design Studio into a medium sized international company just landed in Shanghai, dedicated to creative production such printing in rigid materials, custom made cnc / laser cut decoration, large format printing, signages etc. This new market required not only production, but creativity. That’s why they had the need of having a design team. Therefore, had to interview and create a team of five designers and a Marketing Specialist to give response to that growing business of creation. Aside from the design tasks, I also had to help and supervise the sales managers strategy, training them to better understand the client’s needs and develop a more successful work. I reported directly to the General Manager in China.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, my work would include Art Direction, Graphic Design, Editorial, Photography, Packaging, Product Design & Development, Trade Shows Booth Design. Working closely with Product and Purchasing Manager. I created the guidelines of the company’s branding that would be followed for the next few years, holistic modern and clear communication in all the touch points, elevating the brand among competitors. I also helped setting up a photography studio that made their sales much more attractive.

The company was and Advertising Agency that had projects for national companies, 32th America’s Cup (which Valencia’s City hosted) among them. As a fresh graduated Graphic Designer I developed all kind of visual communication such as visual identity, brochures, flyers etc. Reporting to the Art Director, I worked closely with Account Executives and Strategy Specialist. During my time in the Agency I learned a lot from my colleagues, and I experienced the fast pace of an advertising agency, where the pressure and stress help you pushing yourself further and achieve greater solutions.
