+ Prioritization, sequencing, governance and oversight of the portfolios for three divisions: The General Agency; IT Operations; and Enterprise Services. + Key role in delivering the annual strategic business plan for these divisions in collaboration with executive stakeholders in business and IT. The plan is refreshed on a quarterly basis. + Identify, embrace and implement continuous improvement measures on behalf of the Planning and Program Management department. + Lead weekly portfolio reviews and provide regular status reporting to executive stakeholders. + Continuously monitor and report key performance metrics for the portfolio. + Perform ad hoc project budget to actuals analysis as requested by executives. + Generation and sign-off of all project charters in the portfolio. + Coordinate formal project and portfolio change management activity in accordance with Change Control Board policies and procedures. + Drive formal project closeout activity.

Owner/operator of an importer and seller of fine furniture, design accessories and ceramics manufactured in Thailand.

Responsible for marketing and sales support, supply chain logistics, quality control and factory relations for an international furniture importer.

+ Managed the delivery of projects that developed Microsoft .Net-based systems for Compliance, Account Transfers, Retirement Accounts, Advisory and Brokerage New Accounts and Custody Assets. + Played key role on successful internal and independent information system audit projects and rapid reporting response to requests made by external agencies.

+ Provided system development and integration project management services. + Clients included: Wave House Holdings, Creative Kingdoms, California Exit, and Avenue Advisors.

+ Managed cross-functional product development and wireless application projects. Implemented process management and best practices for planning and controlling projects. + Concurrently managed up to five product development and system integration projects.

+ Developed project management standard operating procedures, schedule, and document templates covering the life cycle of various project types. + Developed an intranet, which promoted standards and enhanced communication across the Global Professional Services business unit. + Wrote proposals and generated estimates for projects involving custom development of mobile applications.

+ Responsible for project delivery for this Microsoft Solution Provider. + Built data driven web-based/eCommerce systems for Hewlett Packard, MobilePlanet, Hallmark Circuits, Lemon Grove School District among other clients.

+ Led development and support for the City of San Diego internet initiative. Implemented the initial San Diego website, www.sandiego.gov, and the Regional San Diego Geographic Information System website, www.sangis.org. + Responsible for development and support of business applications for the San Diego Engineering & Capital Projects department; Planning Department; Park & Recreation department; and the Citywide PMO. + Designed and developed an online system that enabled the San Diego Fire Department to manage fire and emergency medical incident reporting.

Provided development and support of the corporate personnel and payroll system for the Electric Boat and Eastern Data Center Divisions. The system consisted of over 100 online screens and extensive batch processing using IMS DB/DC database access and the COBOL programming language.
