Responsibilities: US forecasting and demand planning- Placing monthly orders and communicating daily with our international suppliers, minimizing exposure to excess or obsolete stock Issuing and tracking all open purchase orders- Monitoring for upcoming and overdue delivery dates, oversee incoming air and sea shipments, and keeping senior management aware of updates through weekly reports Managing all international and domestic purchase orders- Including receiving all inbound shipments verified by the warehouse to the Inventory Management software Creating and maintaining spreadsheets to report and analyze data between multiple warehouse to optimize stock levels Managing all inventory reconciliations- Coordinating cycle counts performed by warehouse and investigating discrepancies Allocating Product- Allocating items based on stock levels and order priority. Coordinating all outbound shipments on a daily basis Maintaining Inventory Item Database- Entering all new items and maintaining current items Managing EDI Transactions- Establishing new and maintaining existing EDI relationships. Setting Up and Maintaining all EDI Catalogs. Coordinating all EDI transactions In this position, I strategize directly with the Director of Operations. I excel at reporting, analyzing, and managing current inventory; as well as forecasting and planning for the future.
