While rowing at the D1 level in college, I also coached for a Boston-University Academy program. I was responsible for teaching the mechanics of the rowing stroke to junior rowers with a variety of skill and athletic levels. I motivated athletes by focusing on a 3-fold progression system of speed, technique and strength. I discussed the relationships between these areas and provided advice on racing and training from personal experience with junior and collegiate rowing. I also coordinated races with other local crew teams and organize race plans.

Film Grip | 06/2015 - 08/2015
Signed to work as a film grip on an HBO mini-series production. Shooting was almost exclusively done in the diverse natural terrain surrounding Calgary. I was responsible for communicating interdepartmentally with the key grip, best boy, and others to make scene set-up and breakdown as fluid and timely as possible. This often involved moving heavy equipment across plains, mountains and rivers, sometimes several kilometers.
