In My Own Words
As an illustrator, artist, and designer based in Eugene, Oregon, I infuse creativity and cultural insight into every project. Growing up in Japan, my mixed heritage and deep connection to nature have greatly influenced my understanding of diversity and representation, driving my dedication to creating work that amplifies underrepresented voices.
My career so far has been focused on crafting engaging experiences that foster community and inspire interaction. From illustrating for magazines to designing graphic content for public initiatives, I prioritize creating thoughtful and impactful experiences that integrate across professions and allow more ownership from the people. By blending research, architecture, and graphic design, I work to create integrated environments that reflect the harmonization between people and nature.
