Categories primarily include Winter Seasonal and Hair Accessories. • Shop customers stores, as well as other comparative and upmarket retail stores, to identify new trends and opportunities, evaluate merchandise mix, evaluate competition, and translate findings into executable product plans to drive sales • Researching market trends, comparative analysis, developing relationships with key retail accounts with the goal of developing specific programs and accessory lines to drive sales • Negotiate pricing with overseas manufacturers and retail buying teams to achieve desired margins and total sales volumes. • Track and keep record of all samples while communicating approvals, comments, and requested changes to manufacturers through final approval to ensure each product is 100% approved and production ready at specific deadlines Ensure each product is tested, 100% approved and that tests are uploaded into vendors internal systems at specific deadlines. • Set up and maintain style number system, cost sheets and photo library of all styles. • Utilize US Customs & Border Control CROSS system to determine duty rates according to Harmonized Tariff Schedule.

International distributor for American made healthy food and beverage products. • Work with retailers to add American made products to compliment and grow their current inventory lines • Represent product lines and coordinate company participation in trade shows and USDA sponsored trade missions. • Liaise with United State Department of Commerce and Foreign Agriculture Service to further develop potential leads. • Manages and distribute Federal STEP Grant funds for eligible marketing activities in foreign markets.
