Artistic involvement creates opportunities and hope that everyone should rejoice in! Thankfully, skateboarding and drawing have balanced my mind for the past twenty years. I can’t help but stay focused on constant progression and reoccurring happiness. My work has since evolved into a wide range of photographic settings and hand-drawn envisions acquired over time, friendships and cultural awareness. My sense of photography only helps balance my love for all other preceding art forms I grew studying. Skateboarding, visual art, and photography have pushed my artistic lifestyle in a way I’ve always hoped for. Trying to ascribe new meanings to familiar objects and spaces seen everyday has been a constant challenge while growing up in Walla Walla, Wa. My passion for aesthetics and skateboarding are a true blessing which has helped shape confidence and a great attention to detail in everything I do. What compels me the most to create and use photography is the ability to capture lifestyles and interact with our human desire to move. I concentrate on objects, themes, and imagery of everyday material that is considered unattractive to the average population. Established memories have drawn me to the genre of urban landscapes and our engagement in society, but also run-down places and things not necessarily viewed as important. Certain imagery is going to strike different meanings or memories, and if totally foreign, hopefully new thoughts will be evoked.
