Projects

Creative Direction - Brand Design

This project involved the creation of a distinctive logo mark and brand slogan for Driftwood Co. Design & Supply. The logo was designed to visually represent the company’s core values and services, ensuring it stands out in a competitive market. The brand slogan was crafted to effectively communicate the company’s unique selling proposition and resonate with its target audience. Both assets were developed with a focus on strong visual identity, clarity, and memorability, and established a cohesive brand presence that enhances recognition and communicates the company's professionalism and expertise in garment decoration and manufacturing. For this project, I spearheaded the creative conceptualization process, storyboarding, collaborated design efforts and delegated tasks to a team to effective execute this project.

Driftwood, Showroom Display Activation

Under my direction, I spearheaded the entire process of creating a tailored retail activation for Driftwood Co.'s clients. This included developing an innovative concept design that aligns with the brand's vision, setting a clear budget for the project, and sourcing high-quality materials. I managed the construction and installation of the activation space, which was designed to effectively display a range of wholesale brand products. The goal was to create an engaging and functional display where clients can explore and select products in a compelling, hands-on retail-like environment.

805 Beer - Graphic Tee Concept Design

Provided creative input and art development for the 805 Beer brand, designing a limited-edition graphic tee. This exclusive release was available online and at brewery retail locations.

Missing Man Project

For the Missing Man Project, I took this from concept to product starting with design, product sourcing, production, retail finishing, product photography and packaging.

Anderson Bros. Retail Activation

During the filming of The Profit, Tankfarm & Co. underwent a significant retail downsizing, reducing its footprint from approximately 1,500 to 400 square feet. Leading the redesign, I developed concept sketches in Procreate to visualize the new retail layout and displays. These designs guided material sourcing and construction, culminating in the final build's unveiling in the show's concluding segment.

DWNTWN x NIKE SB - Product Photography

As a creative lead, I directed and executed the product photography for the latest Nike SB collection, curated for retailer DWNTWN Projects. This involved developing a visual strategy that aligned with both the brand’s identity and the retailer’s aesthetic. Through careful lighting, composition, and post-production, the images showcased the unique design elements of each shoe, ensuring high-quality visuals for marketing, e-commerce, and promotional use.

Tankfarm & Co. Seal Beach - Retail Activation

I spearheaded the design and execution of a new retail display activation, transforming the in-store experience to enhance product visibility and customer engagement. The project involved conceptualizing the layout, sourcing materials, and overseeing construction to ensure a seamless integration with the brand’s aesthetic. The final display served as a dynamic focal point, optimizing both functionality and visual appeal to drive customer interaction.

Loose Ends - Writing, Production, Direction

https://www.instagram.com/looseendspunx/

This project encompassed the full creative and production process of an album, from conceptualization to publication. Beginning with songwriting and composition, I crafted a cohesive narrative and sound, leading the recording and production process to bring the vision to life tracking both guitar and drums, working directly with multiple producers to track bass guitar and vocals. Beyond the music, I directed the album art, ensuring a visual identity that aligned with the record’s themes. For the lead single, I wrote the music video treatment, shaping its storyline and aesthetic direction. Additionally, I collaborated directly with PR teams to secure press coverage and interviews, resulting in features in Alternative Press, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, Bringing It Backwards Podcast, and more, amplifying the album’s reach and impact.

Ivy Organics - Booth Design & Activation

Designed and executed a dynamic booth activation, creating an immersive brand experience tailored for maximum engagement. The project involved conceptualizing the booth layout, selecting materials, and overseeing the build to ensure a visually compelling and functional space. Key elements included strategic product placement, interactive components, and branded aesthetics to captivate attendees. The activation successfully enhanced brand visibility, facilitated customer interaction, and provided a memorable experience aligned with marketing objectives.

Custom Reception Desk - Warren T Fitness, Gym

https://www.instagram.com/p/C9V-4hEpZqZ/

Designed and constructed a bespoke reception desk inspired by the Olympic medal tiers, integrating a modern, abstract geometric aesthetic. To keep the project within budget, I strategically leveraged prefabricated IKEA pieces, reducing costs while maintaining a high-end look. The design featured tiered structural elements symbolizing gold, silver, and bronze podiums, creating a striking visual statement with functional utility. A seamlessly integrated mini-fridge was incorporated for beverage sales, enhancing both convenience and customer engagement. The final build balanced creativity, affordability, and practicality, serving as a standout centerpiece within the space.

Ivy Organics - Product Photography Direction

This project involved the creative direction of a luxury, organic mattress photoshoot in Los Angeles, emphasizing sustainability, craftsmanship, and wellness. The aesthetic featured elevated minimalism, natural textures, soft lighting, and an earthy color palette to highlight the brand’s premium quality.

Key elements included a curated location, diverse product models, and organic styling, with storytelling focused on restful sleep, self-care, and sustainability. Deliverables included high-resolution images, short-form video content, and a visual guide for marketing. The final output will reinforce the brand’s commitment to ethical luxury and holistic living, enhancing its market presence.

Tankfarm & Co. - Visual Merchandising

This was an ongoing project as seasonal and bi-seasonal collections rotated, that focused on leading visual merchandising for an independent men’s fashion brand that blended its in-house designs/products with heritage brands like Red Wing, Filson, Deus Ex Machina, and Brixton, embodying a lifestyle of sport, leisure, and timeless sophistication.

The strategy included narrative-driven store layouts, premium fixture design, mannequin styling, and seasonal displays to create an immersive retail experience. Emphasizing refined materials, strategic lighting, and seamless brand integration, the project ensures a cohesive luxury aesthetic.

Deliverables included (Sometimes loosely) a visual merchandising plan, seasonal display strategies, and marketing alignment, reinforcing the brand’s identity and enhancing customer engagement.

Seager X Tankfarm & Co. - Art Design

Provided creative input and art development for a brand collaboration between Tankfarm & Co. and Seager Brand, designing a limited-edition product collection featuring a graphic tee and koozie. This exclusive release was available only at Tankfarm & Co. locations in Huntington and Seal Beach, aligning with both brands’ aesthetics and retail strategy.

Laux Company - Sleep When I'm Dead Capsule

The "Sleep When I’m Dead" capsule collection for Laux Company was a concept-driven, limited release that explored themes of ambition, perseverance, and the relentless pursuit of creative dreams. As the creative director, I led the design process from ideation to execution, ensuring a cohesive visual and thematic identity that resonated with the brand’s ethos.

Key responsibilities included sourcing high-quality blanks and overseeing screen printing production, as well as curating retail finishings such as custom hangtags, stickers, and uniquely branded black poly-mailers—hand-modified to feature the word “Coroner” for an immersive unboxing experience.

A defining element of the collection was a customized LA County Coroner report sheet, reimagined as a conceptual tool for self-reflection. Under my creative direction, this piece allowed buyers to write down the “excuses” they had been telling themselves for not pursuing their dreams, reinforcing the collection’s core message of pushing past limitations.

This project not only delivered a visually compelling and thematically rich capsule but also created a multi-sensory consumer experience, blending fashion, design, and introspection in a uniquely engaging way.
