Conducted trade studies in the concept design/initialization phase of engine air cycle systems. · Modeled the fuel and lube thermal management system in Dymola for advanced military engine applications. · Filtered air cycle system architectures by using design of experiments and scoring metrics. · Spearheaded engine/airframe integration efforts in the development of interface control documents.

Successfully led the Dynamic Systems Analysis team in support of the T900 engine, Pratt and Whitney's turboshaft engine replacement option for the Army's Apache and Blackhawk rotorcraft. · Leveraged a strong control systems background in the design of engine fuel metering and fueldraulic actuation minor loop control, exceeding stringent U.S. Government performance requirements. · Utilized Simulink and Modelica in the development of detailed, physics-based fuel system models critical to minor loop control design, failure mode assessment, and hardware sizing and architecture. · Represented the T900 program in the Preliminary Design Review presentation by succinctly demonstrating advanced minor loop control capabilities and compliance to over 200 U.S.G. engine and airframe experts.

Worked within an interdisciplinary team of engineers and architects in the design and construction of the SU+RE House, a sustainable, resilient home achieving 1 st place in the international Solar Decathlon competition.
