Founded AnaLu Designs and embarked on a variety of creative work for small businesses, existing companies and start-ups. Designed a variety of work such as, logos, posters, marketing kits, packaging, business cards and websites. Worked closely with clients to meet specific requests. Worked directly with a web developer to create websites using content management systems. Supported the launch of social media marketing campaigns with each company and designed newsletters accordingly. Created a wide variety of textile designs for the fashion industry in a fast-paced design studio environment. Top clients included Roxy/Quicksilver, Rip Curl, Hurley, Pac Sun, Volcom and Vans. Main categories include swim and sportswear with a focus on international high-fashion brands as well. Worked closely with the owner/creative director to handle time-sensitive projects from concept to completion. Used a combination of original artwork, computer generated graphics and digital drawings to create one-of-a-kind prints. Designed technical repeats upon client request to print seamlessly on fabrics and applied mathematical techniques to fit factory specifications. Color separated prints for screen printing as needed and used Pantone swatches per client request. Designed in-house posters, brochures, and catalogs. Implemented MailChimp for company newsletters, maintained templates and contacts. Managed company website. Responsible for basic IT maintenance, monthly server back-ups, troubleshooting errors, FTP logins complex data organization. Trained new hires and mentored interns through specific design techniques acquired for maximum quality and efficiency. Delegated tasks in absence of creative director. Manged work between daily client requests and administration duties such as invoicing, maintaining project lists, ordering supplies and coordinating print repair.

Created original artwork and design concepts for tabletop houseware products including, but not limited to; dinnerware collections, ceramic novelty items and houseware textiles. Designed modular displays, PDQs and headers pertaining to each collection. Designed catalog sheets and mock ups, including foam board presentations for sales meetings. Researched and created trend boards for product development. Responsible for tracking, photographing and organizing all incoming samples from factories in China.
