I strive to create innovative and stunning visuals that capture attention and communicate poignant ideas. I enjoy finding the harmony between aesthetic and functional design to communicate concepts whether to sell a product or spread a message. Some of my historical and modern influences include George Lois, Rene Magritte and Pablo Picasso. I believe in the win-win mentality while working within a team environment and having a collaborate spirit to meet design challenges. I have a wide variety of experience including, print design, logo design, branding, web design, and fine art. I like the variety that designing for clients can offer and enjoy meeting the people behind the brand. I have 9 years of working experience as a graphic designer and look forward to investing in an outstanding, creative, and dynamic environment.

Founded AnaLu Designs and embarked on a variety of creative work for small businesses, existing companies and start-ups. Designed a variety of work such as, logos, posters, marketing kits, packaging, business cards and websites. Worked closely with clients to meet specific requests. Worked directly with a web developer to create websites using content management systems. Supported the launch of social media marketing campaigns with each company and designed newsletters accordingly. A few clients include, Writers In Treatment, Inc. a 501(c)3, Billy Blanks Enterprises, Allbright Painting, Inc., Cooper Product, Prima Fine Art, N.A.P.S. organization and Every Angle Media.

Creative Director/Owner

Created a wide variety of textile designs for the fashion industry in a fast-paced design studio environment. Top clients included Roxy/Quicksilver, Rip Curl, Hurley, Pac Sun, Volcom and Vans. Main categories include swim and sportswear with a focus on international high-fashion brands as well. Worked closely with the owner/creative director to handle time-sensitive projects from concept to completion. Used a combination of original artwork, computer generated graphics and digital drawings to create one-of-a-kind prints. Designed technical repeats upon client request to print seamlessly on fabrics and applied mathematical techniques to fit factory specifications. Color separated prints for screen printing as needed and used Pantone swatches per client request. Designed in-house posters, brochures, and catalogs. Implemented MailChimp for company newsletters, maintained templates and contacts. Managed company website. Responsible for basic IT maintenance, monthly server back-ups, troubleshooting errors, FTP logins complex data organization. Trained new hires and mentored interns through specific design techniques acquired for maximum quality and efficiency. Delegated tasks in absence of creative director. Manged work between daily client requests and administration duties such as invoicing, maintaining project lists, ordering supplies and coordinating print repair.

Created original artwork and design concepts for tabletop houseware products including, but not limited to; dinnerware collections, ceramic novelty items and houseware textiles. Designed modular displays, PDQs and headers pertaining to each collection. Designed catalog sheets and mock ups, including foam board presentations for sales meetings. Researched and created trend boards for product development. Responsible for tracking, photographing and organizing all incoming samples from factories in China. Worked closely with project manager and product director.

Graphic Artist/Product Development Associate

Developed and designed concepts for new and existing jewelry collections. Improved brand identity and clarity in aesthetic for targeted market. Designed all marketing materials, including direct mail, ad campaigns, postcards, newsletters, flyers, invitations, and catalogs. Managed communication with printers and oversaw production on projects. Shopped for props and setup photo shoots for jewelry collections. Coordinated the e-Newsletter design and direction. Worked closely with the marketing director/VP on organizing projects and marketing tasks. Met with the marketing team for brainstorming, marketing and advertising strategies. Traveled to jewelry trade shows and store openings in support of marketing and visuals. Sold ad space to retailers via telephone for national ad campaigns in nationally recognized bridal magazin

Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant

Designed household gift items, dinnerware programs, packaging, displays and labels from concept to completion for nationwide sales and distribution in stores such as CVS and Rite Aid. Prepared presentations and mock-ups for perspective clients, worked closely with overseas manufactures during production. Collections I designed created continued revenue for the company.
