Calavera swimwear is constructed with a unique design and intelligent mix of materials typically only available in men’s surfwear such as Velcro, fillers and low-flexibility materials to improve fit and limit the stretch yet allow for easy adjustments. Calavera bikini tops also feature tie-up solutions that reduce stress on the neck from the string ties and strong elastic bands that allow the tops to remain securely in place no matter how brutal the surf session. Before public release, Calavera Swimwear bikinis were rigorously field-tested in the company’s birthplace of Jaco, Costa Rica by the Calavera Surf Team that includes Costa Rica’s number one ranked female surfer Jordan Hundley and rising surf star Evie Johnstone.
