-Provide full lifecycle mechanical development (design, test prototypes, introduce to manufacturing, sustain through obsolescence). -Produce and evaluate design concepts. -Design systems and components that meet requirements. -Revise designs to meet new requirements, reduce cost, and/or address malfunctions. -Mechanical, material, and thermal measurement, data collection, and analysis of systems and components. -Evaluate final product overall performance reliability, and safety. -Estimate project scope and effort for mechanical engineering. -Mechanical integration of system components. -Coordination of system-level regulatory testing including working with testing agencies. -Development of packaging solutions from component to system level. -Documentation of requirements and design specifications. -Conduct mechanical design reviews. -Support the Service, Test Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations groups.

-Mechanical design of hardware enclosures and peripheral accessories for operating room integration systems. -Creation of technical drawings. -Engineering document control. -Creation of specification sheets for various hardware components. -Writing assembly and operation instructions.
