In my most recent position I was a Supply Chain / Operations Manager with Action Bicycle USA, which is now part of Cyclone Bicycle Supply. Previously I oversaw operations at DJ’s Cycles in Long Branch, NJ.

My key qualities and achievements include:

- Acquired extensive experience in the bicycle industry, gained comprehensive product and market knowledge, and  
  consistently stayed abreast of industry developments
- Directed operations and managed staff at Action Bicycle USA, developed and led a sales team, and oversaw  
  customer engagements 
- Sourced and identified the most suitable suppliers and cultivated mutually beneficial relationships
- Oversaw operations at DJ’s Cycles, generated a 10% boost in sales, and overhauled the store design to exceed  
  the competitive market.

I have undertaken significant Advanced Product Training from Multiple Suppliers and have also completed Custom Bicycle Fitting training through Serotta Bicycles.

My experience in the bicycle industry spans over 20 years and includes forecasting and purchasing, budget control and effective team management and development. I have a long and consistent record in directing efficient operations and in implementing projects aimed at maximizing sales while at the same time reducing costs. I am persistent and results-driven and committed to enhancing the customer experience.

Action Bicycle is a regional distributor of bicycle components, accessories, and business solutions. The vast catalog lineup comprises of over 12,000 skus, with annual sales of $10 million.

Supply Chain / Operations Manager
As a Supply Chain / Operations Manager I led and coordinated the activities of personnel engaged in purchasing, operations, inventory control, warehousing and logistics. I also oversaw customer engagement through our Sales Representatives, and directed the sourcing and identification of suppliers in support of collaborative and partnering initiatives.

My responsibilities included the implementation of policies, practices, and procedures pertaining to the supply chain, and the coordination of customer and supply chain-related matters with the direct and indirect inside sales teams.

Supply Chain / Operations Manager

DJ’s Cycles was established in 1972, and specializes in providing customers with a unique retail cycling experience. They assist with the selection of new bikes, with the maintenance and repair of existing bikes and offer bike rentals.

General Manager
In this role I oversaw the daily operations of a full service bicycle store, which included custom fittings, repair services, and retail sales and delivered consistently superior customer service.

My achievements included a 10% boost in sales, and I controlled and limited inventory as required, to meet customer demands.

In addition, I launched, managed, coached and trained the DJ’s Cycles BMX team, which participated in local, regional and national events, and also redesigned and renovated the entire store to exceed the competitive market.
