Vipe is the founder and CEO of HDX Mix, an environmentally friendly sports drink mix. In addition to being a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist, he has applied his more than 3 decades of experience in launching disruptive brands, brand building and cause-marketing strategies for both for-profit and non-profits. Currently Vipe is serving as a Board Member for Ocean Champions, Lonely Whale Foundation, AltaSea and RichUncles.com, an SEC reporting company managing more than $300 million in assets.

In the early 90’s, Vipe created the H2O Winter Classic, a two-day surf and snowboard competition with a concert which went on to inspire the Vans Warped Tour and the X Games. In the late 90’s, he helped launch Red Bull in the U.S. Vipe has been called upon by numerous brands, CEO’s and even political campaigns to advise on branding, marketing and turn-around strategies which also included creating a collaboration for Partnership for a Healthier America chaired by First Lady Michelle Obama.

Today, Vipe’s focus is on ensuring that future generations are met with a healthy and thriving ocean. He’s involved with several ventures focused around innovations and solutions that will reduce plastic waste and minimize impact on the planet. 

As a way to help entrepreneurs, he launched the Army of Gamechangers podcast where he interviews executives who share their best career and leadership advice.

With roots firmly placed in surf culture, SUPERbrand creates unique pieces that are forward thinking and that fulfill the wants, needs, ideology and vision of the youth and beyond. We make quality surfboards, and on-trend apparel that is relevant to both surf and fashion circles.

The Lonely Whale, founded by actor, filmmaker and social advocate Adrian Grenier and Producer Lucy Sumner, is an incubator for courageous ideas that drive impactful market-based change on behalf of our ocean. Inspired by the power of community to create the change we need to ensure a healthy planet, we are working towards a new era of radical collaboration, together facilitating the creation of innovative ideas that push the boundary on current trends in technology, media and advocacy that positively impact the health of our ocean.

We've taken best practices in running a for-profit company and fused it with the drive and passion of a non-profit organization to create a for-purpose business model.

As consumers, we are at a crossroads. We are at the intersection where health, convenience, function, cost, access and sustainability collide. In the middle of all this chaos is where you'll find HDX Hydration Mix.

Founder

Ocean Champions, a 501(c)(4) organization, with a connected political action committee Ocean Champions PAC, is the first national organization of its kind focused solely on oceans and ocean wildlife. Our goal is to develop a broad, bipartisan base of supporters from which to cultivate political champions for ocean conservation in the U.S. Congress and in key states. Ultimately, the aim is to create a political environment where protecting and restoring the oceans is a priority of federal and state governments.

With the endorsement of Ocean Champions, 71 ocean champions are serving and pushing a number of important ocean bills across the House and the Senate; from the Pacific states, Atlantic states, Gulf states, and some in between.
