Mojo Wheels
Store Manager | 03/2018 - 12/2020
Tasked with increasing revenue and improving customer service through staff education and training, as Store Manager, I set forth to recreate the brand and make it better than ever. Utilizing my extensive background in product knowledge, customer service, and sales experience, I trained, coached, and groomed the staff to be the best that they could be at product knowledge, customer service, and sales. Mojo Wheels product line included very high-end bicycles and products and a strong customer base. I developed that further by bringing on race teams, working with high school teams, creating a demo program, establishing and operating a customer build program, and working with other companies to advertise and bring cycling to other outdoor recreation platforms to create new cyclists - particularly in the E-bike market. My duties also included purchasing manager of all products such as Pivot, Santa Cruz, Transition, Specialized, Giant, QBP, BTI, JBI, KHS, WPS, and others. I was also responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and disciplinary actions of staff. During my time with Mojo Wheels, I oversaw a staff of 12 and provided them the tools they needed to perform all tasks to the best of their abilities. I also worked with creating visual merchandising in the store; receiving products; inventory of products and finding new ways to increase revenue, customer base, and customer loyalty.
Bike Source
Store Manager | 09/2016 - 03/2018
Initially was hired in a floor sales role but quickly advanced from that position to sales manager and then promoted to store manager. I worked hard to build rapport with customers to maintain future relationships and provide phenomenal customer service and closed every sale possible. As I led this team, we brought the store from last in the company to first. As sales manager and manager, I trained my team daily and set them up for future success; I also managed their schedule and ran payroll. Once a month I set up visual merchandise displays that would revitalize the sales floor and generate new sales. Monthly I met with company sales representatives within the bike industry to schedule future purchases of their products that would further make our store thrive. As store manager, I trained my staff to be the best at selling an “experience” and closing sales for the store. Under my leadership, we crushed our previous year’s sales by $3.2 million dollars. Most of the success came from selling more than 400 E-bikes during that year and re-directing the customer base from commuters and kid bike sales to high-end road and mountain bike sales. This generated purchases from those who saw cycling as a lifestyle which brought much more revenue into the store.

Coached staff while working alongside them, providing the daily examples of great sales and customer service. In addition to management, my responsibilities covered handling all warranties for all three of Boulder Cycle Sports stores and working with our suppliers to ship/receive products that kept inventory current and customer loyalty high.
Red Rock Bicycle Company

Provided customers with a one-stop shop experience by understanding their needs and concerns, providing them with practical solutions, and often creating a sale that drastically improved their experience. Daily duties included breaking down sales numbers for my team which created obtainable goals that allowed them to reach new heights and continued to increase the growth of the store. My responsibilities also included coaching and training current and new staff on procedures and products, answering phones, assisting customers merchandising and maintaining the appearance of the store. Continued education included learning new products as they were introduced to the bicycle industry and to create over-the-top customer experiences.
Office Max
TECH SPECIALIST/MANAGER ON DUTY/KEY HOLDER | 11/2009 - 09/2010
Hired to revamp the selling team of a store that was low-producing in sales and team spirit. While given the choice to either hire a fresh team or revamp the current team; I chose to work with the existing team. By utilizing my proven sales techniques to build team attitude and consistently high sales; the team turned around in a six-month time period. This store achieved No. 1 status for several months consecutively, and I remained one of the top salespersons in the district every week through my employment.
