Camp Bum Events

Camp Bum is a lifestyle brand who's mission is to get people outdoors. We created donation-based Full Moon Hike events for the local community to come out and enjoy. These family and pet-friendly hikes are a great way to build community and also help promote local businesses. Local businesses and brands are able to promote their services and offerings by donating products or gift certificates to our group. 

I am a professional graphic artist and website designer. I create and draw inspiration from nature and simplicity. I believe style and function must work hand-in-hand for a design piece to be useful. These ideals and personal standards are seen throughout my work and create an easier user experience for both print and web applications.

Royal Marketing and Design was founded in 2006 with the simple idea to keep design simple and effective. We prefer to call this simple idea 'Nature Inspired Design' because, in nature, everything has a purpose and yet is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Royal Marketing and Design believes good design can and should do same thing.

I've had the pleasure to work with many fantastic clients who have seen their businesses flourish and grow as a result of our working together. I consult with my clients and help strategize and plan out a best course of action from branding to a website campaign and everything in between. This hands on approach and interaction with the client has helped grow me to become a better designer and strategic thinker.

Camp Bum’s mission is to encourage as many people as possible to venture into the outdoors and reap the benefits of time in nature. We believe that sharing these life-long experiences with family and friends will encourage future generations to preserve our environment and natural resources.

Camp Bum is a family operated business located in San Diego, CA that is dedicated to preaching the good word about nature and the outdoors. We want to help and do our part by teaching Leave No Trace ethics and outdoor stewardship as well as hosting community events, donating to charities, and more.

Established the style, look, and creative for the E’ryday Brand, Website, Packaging and more. 

I was responsible for developing, overseeing, optimizing, and elevating the performance of Eufora's e-commerce website(s), online member services, web assets, and User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX). I also played a key role in creating digital graphics and assisting in shooting behind-the-scenes photography and video. Furthermore, I provided valuable contributions to the art direction of campaigns, aligning campaign strategies with our creative standards to bolster sales initiatives, educational programs, and member services.

Senior Web Specialist

In my role, I was responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, management, and execution of all visual communications for the Cobian brand. Notably, I directed the brand story, creative direction, talent selection, and photography for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 product catalogs, encompassing in-store signage, digital marketing collateral, and event materials. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in the development of logos and iconography for the Hobgood Sandal line by Cobian, further enhancing brand identity. Furthermore, I designed responsive email marketing templates, automated workflows, and implemented retargeting strategies, which proved effective in minimizing cart abandonment rates. Through these contributions, I made significant strides in advancing Cobian's visual and brand communication efforts.

I held the position of Senior Designer at Lofta, an online retailer specializing in CPAP devices, accessories, and supplies, with a range of innovative at-home testing solutions and sleep coaching services. In my role, I ensured strict adherence to brand standards across all marketing collateral, while also taking charge of designing and structuring new website pages (UI/UX). Additionally, I was responsible for curating, scheduling, and posting content across various social media channels, as well as crafting and coding email newsletters. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in devising imaginative paid digital advertising campaigns, conducting product photography shoots, and contributing to creative copywriting efforts.

Senior Designer

Digital Creative Agency: Tasks include website development and design, graphic design, apparel design and brand marks, email automations and design, landing page flows, and digital ad creation and posting.

Part of a highly creative and talented Marketing Team as a Website Developer and Designer. Strategy and utilizing simple solutions for complicated demands was part of a daily schedule. Tasks ranged from updating site pages utilizing both PC and Mac, creating social media graphics and digital ads to laying out and creating e-mail newsletters and much more. 

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategize and implement creative and cutting edge design, campaigns, and event collateral for a series of various motivational and real estate targeted events around the United States and Canada. 
• Design and Implementation of various web pages within the Buffini & Company website and member pages. 
• Re-design of pages within the Buffini & Company website to be responsive and mobile friendly. 
• Social Media graphics, banner and ad designs. 
• E-Mail Newsletter design and layout.

Website Developer

Design, layout and brand collateral for upcoming events, concerts and plays in print, digital, video and website applications. High profile artists, events and design work were published in the monthly San Diego Reader, the massive North County Westfield Mall digital billboard (which overlooks the busy 15 freeway), and Center for the Arts digital billboard in Escondido. 

While working at NAMM I was responsible for many print marketing materials from flyers to posters, mailers, postcards, pamphlets and more. Additionally, I also helped in the website and video departments as I am knowledgeable in both website design and video editing, and served as an event photographer for the tradeshow.

During the tradeshow I was tasked with designing the NAMM apparel that would be displayed and sold during the many conventions we had throughout the year. The apparel was custom designed using vector graphics and was very well received with the printer/salesman selling out of stock quickly. 

Tasks: Print Design and Layout, PDF Forms, Email Marketing and Newsletter Template Design, Logo Design, Magazine layout and design, Billboard design, Tradeshow graphics design, tradeshow photography,  website design, video editing, and more.

Lifewave, Inc. is a multi-level marketing company that is distributed internationally. That being said, guidebooks, pamphlets, and most printed materials needed to also be translated and laid out to over 14 different languages.

During my employment at Lifewave, I fully designed over 6 full guidebooks with 1 of them being 156 pages and was given full creative control of the design, style and look.
